my november

no, this isn’t some sort of cheesy emo song title. Am posting my November resolutions here!

1. keep drink lots of water and green tea!

2. eat healthy, fulfilling breakfast!

3. eat natural, non-processed food!

4. sleep better and longer!

5. STOP PROCRASTINATING!

6. don’t obsess over $$ so much – the small joys are worthy too!

7. delegate “relax time” everyday – even just 15min minutes is good!

8. stretch every morning and night

9 keep my room clean and tidy!

10. be grateful!

pause

I haven’t had any physical exercise (save for that 3 km walk the other day) for the past week and my body is feeling icky. I’ve just been so consumed in critical analysis and readings- God, endless readings…

Anyhow, i fully intend to revert back to my active self once this haze is over. I’ll focus mainly on cardio (because I don’t wish to be a body builder and my thighs are chunky enough, thanks): tennis, biking, running, etc.

Here’s my food log so far:

MONDAY: Grapes, string beans and pork, butter chicken, rice, orange juice

TUESDAY: Fish (Haddock) and coleslaw, coffee, chicken strips, oreo cakesters

WEDNESDAY: Mango juice, steamed salmon, cucumbers, rice, pear

THURSDAY: Timbits, coffee, steamed salmon, rice…

[ETA] I have a deadline on April 23. I have a poetry launch on April 25. And after that, I will be working 24/7 and my mom is coming for a visit and I want to go shopping for shoes and clothes (a whim I rarely entertain) and GAH i want to do so much. TO EXPLORE TO KNOW TO LOVE. Also, during this moment of unavoidable procrastination, I will create a workout schedule for May.

I’ve been indulging in breakfast lately. Proper breakfasts with eggs, bacon, toast and the endless coffee. I’d thought that filling my stomach so much earlier in the day would mean that I’d refrain from snacking until the afternoon. That isn’t the case, however. My appetite is as alive as ever whether or not I eat a morning meal.

I have been feeling a little overwhelmed lately. So many things on my plate and not enough time to even REMEMBER them all. I nearly missed an important correspondence the other day (thankfully, crisis was averted) and UGH this time of year is always stressful.

The weather’s returned to a respectable spring temperature of 10 or so degrees and I so wish to lie down on the grass and breath. There are so many books I want to read. So many things I want to enjoy but for some off (and usually frugal reason) won’t allow myself.
